MINISTRIES

One of the best ways to ‘Get Connected’ at The Potter's House is to jump in and get involved. The Potter's House exists as a local congregation to witness to the world the love of God as revealed in His Son Jesus Christ, our crucified, risen, exalted and soon-returning Savior and King. We seek to teach the Word of God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our goal is the shaping and equipping of our church family so that disciples will be nourished and empowered to fulfill their God-ordained purpose.  As members of the church, our desire is to bring glory to God through our public and private lives.  We do this by rejoicing in Christ Jesus; increasing in the knowledge of God through the study and application of the scriptures; by growing in Godly character; by practicing Biblical fellowship; by serving one another with our spiritual gifts, our time and our money; by proclaiming the Gospel in the Indio area and to the ends of the earth.

HOME BIBLE STUDY

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact with and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, The Potter's House has a Bible Study. The size of the group lends to a more casual, intimate and informative atmosphere. Days and times of availability are announced regularly.

Outreach
SATURDAY COMMUNITY OUTREACH

In addition to our weekly services, we focus on personal evangelism throughout the city every Saturday morning. During the summer we have many outreach ministries that focus on preaching the Gospel through music, drama, films, healing crusades etc. in local parks, gathering-places, and neighborhoods. We also feature live music, drama, and full-length productions to help share the Gospel in our neighborhood, borough and throughout the city wherever there is a need and a response.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Children are the hope of our future, so we aim to give them a solid foundation of Bible understanding. In order to facilitate this, we provide a children’s church ministry during the Sunday evening service that helps them to learn in a context and style suitable for them. This includes music, games and object lessons.

Through many different scripture lessons, stories, games, illustrations and crafts, children are helped to learn servanthood and ministry skills.

Child Care/Nursery
CHILD CARE/NURSERY

The nursery is provided for children at all services; infants through toddlers. Staffed by trained and screened volunteers, health and safety procedures are followed in our nursery at all times to ensure every child is loved and cared for within the highest standards.
